Camera phones -v- Digital Cameras

Cnet compare the picture quality from a Nokia 6300 (2 megapixel camera phone), Sony Ericsson K810i (3.2 megapixel camera phone) , Nokia N95 (5 megapixel camera phone) , Canon IXUS 70 (7.1 megapixel compact digital camera) and the Canon 400D (10 megapixel digital SLR) - the results are interesting.

Communicating Information

Stanford Magazine looks at Edward Tufte's drive to communicate the beauty of communicating information.

Meanwhile a study at the University of New South Wales
has discovered that basic display techniques more commonly used in Power Point (Matching what is said with the same words on the screen) actually muddles the information instead of re-enforcing it.

Plagiarism Museum

On April. 1, a new museum of counterfeit goods opens in the German city of Solingen, near Cologne. The museum will permanently exhibit 300 original products together with seemingly identical rip-offs. These items range from fashion and household products to electrical and medical equipment.
